How to store PP cream jar
The storage method of PP cream cans should be combined with their material characteristics (polypropylene plastic, with good chemical stability, but still avoiding improper environmental influences) and the storage requirements of the cream products they contain. The following are specific storage guidelines:
1、 Environmental condition control
1. Temperature requirements
The storage environment temperature should be maintained between 5 ℃ and 30 ℃, avoiding high or low temperature environments.
High temperature may cause softening and deformation of the tank body (PP material has a melting point of about 160 ℃, but long-term exposure to an environment above 60 ℃ may accelerate aging), and may also cause deterioration of the cream product (such as melting and delamination of oil and grease components).
In low temperature environments, the tank may become brittle and prone to cracking upon collision, and the use of cream may be affected by solidification.
2. Humidity control
The humidity of the storage environment should be below 60% to avoid humid environments. Moisture may lead to the growth of mold on the surface of the tank, especially when the tank lid is not tightly sealed. Moisture entering may cause the cream to become damp and deteriorate, affecting the shelf life of the product.
3. Store in a dark place
Avoid direct sunlight or strong light exposure. Although PP material has good light resistance, long-term UV exposure may cause the tank to fade and age. At the same time, the effective ingredients in cream products (such as vitamins, active extracts, etc.) may become ineffective due to light exposure.
2、 Storage method specification
1. Sealed storage
After use, it is necessary to ensure that the can lid is tightened and kept sealed to prevent air, dust, and moisture from entering the can. If the sealing strip of the can cover is aging, it should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid oxidation or contamination of the cream.
2. Placed upright
Try to store the tank upright and avoid placing it horizontally or upside down. On the one hand, it prevents cream from overflowing from the bottle mouth and contaminating the outside of the tank; On the other hand, avoid long-term compression of the bottle mouth seal by liquid cream, which may cause seal failure.
3. Stay away from sources of pollution
The storage location should be away from odors, chemicals (such as cleaning agents, cosmetic solvents, etc.), and volatile substances to prevent PP material from adsorbing odors or reacting with chemicals, which may affect the strength of the tank or the quality of the cream.
3、 Special scenario precautions
1. Unopened products
It should be stored in its original packaging to avoid direct exposure to air, while retaining the product label (indicating ingredients, shelf life, etc.) for easy traceability and use.
2. Use after opening
After opening, it is recommended to use the cream within the shelf life indicated on the product label (such as "12M after opening"). Keep your hands or tools clean each time you take the cream to prevent bacterial contamination. If any abnormal odor, discoloration, or layering is found in the cream, it should be immediately stopped from use.
3. Transportation and storage
Handle with care during transportation to avoid severe collisions that may cause damage to the tank body; During long-distance transportation, shockproof packaging (such as bubble film and foam box) shall be used for fixation to prevent extrusion deformation.
4、 Long term storage recommendations
If long-term storage is required (such as more than 6 months), a layer of plastic wrap can be wrapped outside the sealed container to further isolate moisture and dust; Before storage, check the tank for cracks and deformation to ensure good sealing performance.
Regularly (every 3 months) check the temperature and humidity of the storage environment, as well as the condition of the tank. If there are any abnormalities, adjust the storage location or handle them in a timely manner.
